Shirk the base, lighten the coffers

An article here on Michelle Malkin’s blog touches on this, along with a lot of spirited comments from her readers.

Note to Republican candidates – If you shirk the conservative base, your bank accounts will not be as heavy as you might like. I know I am certainly not inclined to donate to a candidate that turns his back on common sense conservative principles.
