Feds have the goods on Illinois governor and Obama buddy, Rod Blagojevich

Gov. Rod Blagojevich (Illinois-D)
WJBC is reporting that “Federal agents claim to have enough evidence to indict Blagojevich on fraud and conspiracy charges.” But, will U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald actually take the neat little package investigators have created and prosecute him?
Is there a Tony Rezko connection? Maybe….
Prosecutors also mentioned Blagojevich in an indictment as the intended beneficiary of at least one extortion attempt by Blagojevich fundraiser and businessmen Antoin “Tony” Rezko.
Rezko was convicted June 4 on 16 of the 24 counts against him. He awaits sentencing in October on mail and wire fraud, aiding and abetting bribery and money laundering convictions. He still faces two more trials.
The Chicago Sun-Times has reported Rezko could cut his prison time significantly by cooperating in investigations of other public figures, including Blagojevich.
I think I am with Buffoon over at Fort Hard Knox - “Nothing will happen. The AG is probably on the Obama payroll and dirty himself.”
Remember, “It’s the Chicago way.”
And, like GatewayPundit, I wonder “For some reason the mainstream media is not paying much attention to this story“.

i’m hoping Blagojevich will inspire Congress to finally grow a pair and start doing what’s best for the people they represent (by putting this guy away for a long time)
