Susan Gaddis Gass has announced her bid for re-election in 2012. Gass will be unopposed in the March Republican primary. She is slated be facing a Democrat opponent in the August general election.

Information, thus far, holds that the candidate the local Democrats are putting forth against Susan in the August general election moved here recently from California.
Bear this in mind: California has one of the *highest tax rates in our nation. As of 2010, California was ranked 6th highest in the nation, while Tennessee was ranked only 44th.
And, someone from California is who local Democrats feel should be assessing our property values in Jefferson County?
