Strategists to McCain: “As much as I like Senator McCain, it’s not a team I’m willing to stay involved with any longer.”
According to this article in NewsMax, Sen. John McCain has suffered even more losses in his ’08 presidential bid with the decision by two top GOP strategists in Iowa to abandon his campaign.
In the past couple of weeks, McCain has accepted the resignations of two top aides, laid off more than half his staff, narrowed his strategy to three states and disclosed he had only $2 million to spend. How much longer can it be, before McCain abandons his own campaign? The foundation appears to be crumbling out from under him.
