Former DNC chair sees God’s favor in Gustav. Disturbing!
H/T to Bill Hobbs who points us to RedState for a video of the former-chairman of the DNC, Don Fowler, claiming how God must be on the Democrats’ side, because he is sending Hurricane Gustav into New Orleans.
“Everything is cool,” he tells Congressman John Spratt (D-SC), seated next to him. They both laugh it up.
No. I’m sure he wouldn’t have said that, had he known he was being videotaped. 😉
I guess that ranks Fowler right up there with Michael Moore. Disturbing and disgusting.
Katon Dawson of the SCGOP calls on Obama, as the figurehead of his party, to do some internal policing:
“The outrageous behavior of two of the Obama campaign’s highest profile supporters in the south is despicable, a cynical politization of life and death. I call on Barack Obama to immediately denounce Fowler and Spratt and demand sincere apologies from these members of the Democratic leadership.”
Meanwhile, John McCain works to turn the RNCC into a massive Hurricane Gustav relief effort.
There’s another contrast between Democrats and Republicans for you. The prior cheers at the untold destruction that could be awaiting the people of New Orleans, while the latter is mobilizing to begin offering relief and assistance to those in need during a national emergency. What a sad contrast.
