How’d that apple get so far from the tree?
You’ve heard the adage, I know: “The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.” Well, it’s been seriously debunked in the case of Ron Reagan, when he was asked, between Barack Obama and Sarah Palin, which is more like his famous conservative father.
“Just on the basis of intelligence, you would have to say Barack Obama. I don’t think my father has anything in common with Sarah Palin whatsoever,” Reagan told Top Line.
Nothing, “whatsoever?” I like how Doug Powers has broken it down to give readers a better insight to where President Ronald Reagan stood on issues and where Barack Obama stands. Obama has nothing more than the title in common with our 40th president.
Perhaps Obama loves Reagan. But, I seriously doubt it. “Forced, phony and laughable” may be a more accurate description of that concept. But, I’m thinking envy would be an apt the way to describe what Obama has for Reagan. There are people a lot closer to whom you might draw comparisons with Obama. A hint? Okay……
Now that we’re done with that, you tell me something: What’s Junior got in common with Senior, other than name?
